SoloPay — Privacy Policy & Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 May 2026

Privacy Summary: Your data stays on your device. SoloPay is offline-first — all invoices, time entries, clients, and projects are stored locally on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to our servers, and we don't track you.

1. What Data Does SoloPay Collect?

SoloPay is designed to protect your privacy. Here's exactly what we do and don't collect:

2. Where Is My Data Stored?

Local device storage: All your data is stored in encrypted form on your iPhone in the app's private sandbox folder, protected by your device's passcode and iOS encryption.

iCloud backups: If you have iCloud+ enabled, your device backups may include app data. This is controlled by Apple's backup system, not by SoloPay. You can disable iCloud backups for SoloPay in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → SoloPay.

No remote servers: SoloPay does not send your data to any SoloPay servers. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it (via email, export, or share sheet).

3. When Does My Data Leave My Device?

Your data only leaves your device when you initiate an action:

4. Third-Party Services

SoloPay integrates only with Apple's own services:

No analytics, no tracking, no ads. We do not use Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any analytics platform.

5. Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

UK GDPR & EU GDPR Rights: Under GDPR Article 15–22, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, export, and port your data. Because SoloPay stores everything on your device and you control it entirely, these rights are exercised directly in the app — no need to contact us.

6. Children's Privacy

SoloPay is designed for freelancers and sole traders (adults). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact focusflowuk@gmail.com and we will help delete their data.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post changes here and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If a material change affects your rights, we will provide notice in the app or via update notes in the App Store.

8. Contact Us

If you have questions about this privacy policy, your data, or how SoloPay handles your information, contact:
